Aishwarya Rai, Abhishek Bachchan thank fans

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek are proud parents of a beautiful baby girl. The mother and the daughter are home and Pa Abhishek is still trying to figure out a suitable name for his daughter, whom he refers to as Beti B for now.

Abhishek Bachchan had earlier requested all his fans to suggest name for his and Aishwarya's daughter Beti B. Suggestions poured in thousands.

Recently, when few of Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek's fans asked if they have finalised a name for their daughter, Abhishek tweeted, “Unfortunately still haven't finalized the name. But eternally thankful 4 all the effort you guys are putting in.”


Meanwhile, Abhishek Bachchan is still getting used to the fact of being a father. At a press meet hosted by the Bachchans to celebrate the entry of the new arrival, Abhishek said, “I’m still getting used to the fact that I’m a father now. It would take some time for the feeling to sink in, because for me the definition of father is Amitabh Bachchan.”

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has posed for the photographers with her husband Abhishek Bachchan for the first time after her delivery. The Bollywood star was discharged from the Seven Hills Hosptial, Mumbai yesterday afternoon. After she returned home with her baby girl, Amitabh and Abhishek addressed the media at their home in the evening. 

After the press conference, Aishwarya Rai, who is considered as the most beautiful actress in Bollywood, appeared before cameras with Abhishek. Aish, whose face was glowing with a sweet smile, was sporting a light pink chudidaar, while Abhishek donned white-coloured Kurta Pyjama.

After she became pregnant, many had thought that she would loose her shape and put on more weight. But surprising, she has not gained more weight. From her face, one can make she has obviously gained some pounds, but that is not to the extent of what many had expected.

Aishwarya Rai and her baby discharged from hospital

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who gave birth to her first baby at Seven Hills Hospital in Mumbai on 16th November, has been discharged from the hospital a week after her delivery. Actor Amitabh Bachchan and his son Abhishek drove Aish and her daughter home in a car this afternoon. 


While walking out of the Seven Hills hospital, Aishwarya Rai was accompanied by her father-in-law Abhishek, Amitabh Bachchan and her parents. It was Abhishek, who drove the family car to their home Jalsa in Juhu. His sister Shweta Nanda was at home to welcome the baby into the house.

Amitabh Bachchan seemed to be the happiest man of all, who accompanied Aishwarya in the hospital. Amitabh was holding the baby wrapped in pink cloth. He looked like the proud grandfather as he carried home the baby. However, Abhishek Bachchan is expected to address the media later in the evening.

Actor Amitabh Bachchan and his actor son Abhishek Bachchan have confirmed that the photographs of Aishwarya Rai's baby that are being circulated on the internet are fake. They call the new born baby girl's pictures are created by some talented people on the internet.

On Friday, Oneindia.in had published a report about an image featuring Aishwarya Rai and her baby, which was being circulated on Facebook. Just hours after this, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted, "Many morphed pictures of the 'little one' with her mother in hospital doing the rounds on the net... all fake!!"



On his Twitter page Abhishek Bachchan also wrote, "To be my daughter in her mother's arms. Full points for creativity to the people who made them. Spent the morning with the girls and showing them some rather entertaining photos morphed by some very talented people of who is supposed..."

However, the photo posted on the micro-blogging site Facebook showed Aishwarya Rai Bachchan laid on the bed in the hospital and her daughter sleeping in her arms. Oneindia.in had rightly guessed that the picture of Aish and her daughter was a fake and it was a morphed image.

A week ago, the whole world was looking at the delivery of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. But after the birth of the baby girl, the focus is diverted towards her baby girl. Well! one can make out that the pic of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan's daughter is fake. It is clear that it is a morphed photograph as Aish is having lot of makeup on her face, which is not allowed immediately after the delivery.

The most awaited news of the year is here. Aishwarya delivered Baby B - Baby GIRL at The Seven Hills hospital is in Marol, northwest Mumbai. The news has been twitted by Sr Bachchan as well as Abhishek on twitter.
Baby was delivered at 10AM on 16th November IST (Indian Time).
The 38-year-old actress developed labour pains around 4 am and was rushed to the labour room where the delivery took place after nearly six hours.
Hospital sources said the delivery was normal and that mother and daughter were both doing fine.
An ecstatic Amitabh Bachchan [ Images ] tweeted, "I AM DADA to the cutest baby girl !!" While first-time dad Abhishek tweeted, "IT'S A GIRL!!!!!! :)))))"




Aishwray's parents Vrinda and Krishnaraj Rai, husband Abhishek Bachchan, as well as her in-laws Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan and Shweta Nanda accompanied her.

The family has apparently booked four VIP rooms up on the fifth floor as well so they can be there for this joyous occasion. There will unprecedented security at the hospital. The entire floor and the floor below that was made inaccessible without a valid pass. 

The world has been tracking and following the Aishwarya's pregnancy very closely. This is the most personally tracked pregnancy ever. Most people would be feeling as if there is a delivery within their family.
