Bollywood actress Priyanka Chopra, who is doing fairly well in showbiz, says it is very important to be on the top but at the same time, feels it is difficult to say who is No.1 or No.2.Asked who according to her is very photogenic, the 29-year-old said: “You have to be photogenic if you want to be an actress. I am photogenic. Rekhaji is very photogenic. Dharmendarji with the kind of features he has, he is always smiling. Among my contemporaries, Katrina Kaif, Aishwarya Rai and Deepika Padukone are very photogenic.”
“It is very important to be No 1. Since school days one wants to be No 1. In this competitive world, you have to be No 1 – whether in school or anywhere else. That doesn’t mean you stamp on people’s faces,” said Priyanka, the brand ambassador of Nikon, during the unveiling of a new camera range.
“But it is impossible to decide who is No.1 or No.2. Nobody can decide who is No 1. An actress tends to do three to four films a year and all that films cannot be a hit. We make so many films in a year,” she added the former Miss World.

Hrithik and Priyanka come together in ‘Krrish 3′
Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra, who are riding high on the success of their film ‘Agneepath’ will come together once again for the upcoming film ‘Krrish 3’.Krrish 3 will be directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan, and will be made in 3D. The film will star Hrithik, Priyanka, Kangna Ranaut, Vivek Oberoi, Riya Sen and Rekha (in a special appearance).
The pair was first seen in ‘Krrish’, the sequel to 2003 super hit film ‘Koi Mil Gaya’. Then they were seen in Karan Johar-produced ‘Agneepath’ in January 2012. Both these films had lot of action in it, but the new film ‘Krrish 3’ will see Hrithik and Priyanka romancing strongly.-CMC
Vidya Balan’s ‘Kahaani’ enters third week, still going strong
Vidya Balan’s “Kahaani” seems to have a struck a chord with the audiences in a large way because the gripping thriller has entered its third week and remains to be proving to be a crowd puller. The film not just defies the brand new box office mantra of “focus on first three days’ box office collection”, but in addition proves that the actress has far to go.The film earned Rs.43.05 crore since its release March 9.
Director Sujoy Ghosh made it at the cheap of Rs.8 crore and the collections show that it’s a bumper hit of the primary quarter of the year. “Moreover, there was a large number of hype around Vidya Balan as she swept away all of the awards for her portrayal in ‘The Dirty Picture’. There may be still a large number of curiosity among people,” he added.
Delhi-based distributor Joginder Mahajan also admits that the business for “Kahaani” have been a lot more than expected.
“The success of ‘Kahaani’ reinforces the truth that content is the king. The film has done a fantastic business. After ‘The Dirty Picture’, a definite roughly image was created within the minds of individuals about Vidya, but she instantly broke the mildew with ‘Kahaani’. Her acting is being really appreciated within the film,” said Mahajan.
Despite the discharge of “Agent Vinod”, Verma is expecting occupancy of over 85 percent within the third week too.
“The film ran with packed theatres within the second week and now because the exams are over, more people will come to look at the film. We're expecting occupancy of over 85 percent within the coming week,” he added.
The actress has proved that the success of “The Dirty Picture” was no flash within the pan and that she will be able to carry any role with aplomb. “Paa”, “Ishqiya”, “No One Killed Jessica”, “The Dirty Picture” and now “Kahaani”, Vidya’s winning streak continues. – IANS
