'Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns with right amount of Sex'

Filmmaker Tigmanshu Dhulia says that his upcoming film, "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster Returns" has the right amount of sensuality, stressing it is very important for a film to have the right amount of sex and passion for it to remain effective.

"There is sensuality but in little measure. I feel that it is effective only like that. It should have the right amount of sex and passion," he said at the first look and trailer launch of the film held Thursday evening.

Directed by Dhulia, the film stars Jimmy Shergill, Mahie Gill, Irrfan Khan and Soha Ali Khan.

Talking about the sequel of the film, the director said that he had already sowed the seed of the sequel in the previous film and has taken the story forward in this film.



"We had left the germ of the sequel in the previous film itself. It is not a franchise and we are taking the story ahead," he said.

The director doesn't expect his stars to come prepared on the set, said the actors.

"I know Tigmanshu from the 'Haasil'. You can't come prepared on the sets. I just follow him blindly," Jimmy said who was also a part of "Saheb Biwi Aur Gangster".

Irrfan Khan's character is also a new element which has been added in the sequel. The actor said that Dhulia has tried to experiment with his role.

"Tigmanshu has tried to experiment with my role. He didn't give me expected dialogues and has tried to give me something new. I am waiting to see the response to this," Irrfan said.



Soha said that there is a lot of mystery in the film.

"There is a lot of mystery in the film and situations keep changing throughout the film. No character is black or white in the film, all of them have shades of grey," she said.

The film is all set to release March 8.

जिगर शाह, मुंबई। सलमान की फिल्म दबंग 2 बॉक्स ऑफिस पर धमाल मचा रही है। फिल्म ने बॉक्स ऑफिस के सारे रिकार्ड तोड़ने की ठान ली है। दर्शक फिल्म को खासा पसंद करते दिख रहे हैं। फिल्म ने शुरुआती हफ्ते में 49.5 करोड़ के आंकड़े को छू लिया। इस फिल्म ने 3 इडियट्स के 38 करोड़ के रिकॉर्ड को भी तोड़ दिया है।

सूत्र बताते हैं कि कई सालों बाद सलमान ने अपनी फिल्म किसी विशेष मौके पर रिलीज नहीं की, आमतौर पर सलमान अपनी फिल्म ईद या किसी विशेष मौके पर रिलीज करते हैं। फिल्म ने पहले ही दिन 20 करोड़ रुपए की कमाई की और दूसरे दिन भी 17 करोड़ की कमाई करने से पीछे नहीं रही।

नागपुर के वितरक और प्रदर्शक अक्षय राठी बताते हैं कि सलमान आजकल जिस भी चीज को हाथ लगा रहे हैं वह सोना हो जाता है। फिल्म बिना छुट्टी के रिलीज होते हुए भी अभूतपूर्व प्रदर्शन कर रही है। आशा है आने वाले हफ्ते तक फिल्म बेहतरीन प्रदर्शन करेगी। -मिड डे

रघुवीर यादव बेचेंगे सेक्स पिल

मुंबई। पीपली लाइव से लोकप्रिय हुए रघुवीर यादव अब अपनी अगली फिल्म में सेक्स पिल विक्रेता की भूमिका में नजर आएंगे।

रघुवीर को उम्मीद है कि इस फिल्म से समाज में कुछ सकरात्मक बदलाव देखने को मिलेंगे। वह इस फिल्म में गांव में लोगों को सेक्स पिल बेचते दिखेंगे। हालांकि रघुवीर का मानना है कि कहानी दर्शकों को समझ में आएगी क्योंकि आज भी हमारे समाज में अपनी पर्सनल लाइफ के बारे में बात करने में लोग हिचकिचाते हैं।

Vijay to romance Yami Gautam?

फिल्म राज 3 की सफलता बंगाली बाला बिपाशा बसु के सिर चढ़कर बोल रही है। हालांकि उनके 12 साल के करियर में ऐसी कोई भी फिल्म नहीं रही है जिसे यादगार कहा जाए। इसके बावजूद वह अपने फिल्मी सफर से काफी संतुष्ट हैं।

Vicky Donor writer pens Shekhar Kapur's next

While Shekhar Kapur's dream project Paani is still on hold, the filmmaker is now focusing on an altogether new venture to be penned by Juhi Chaturvedi, the writer of Vicky Donor.

Shekhar loved Vicky Donor and was very impressed by the way Juhi had written the film. He then met up with Juhi and she agreed to write a film for Shekhar. Juhi has already started work on the film and is expected to complete writing this script by the end of the year. Apparently, the film is a social drama based in a rural area in Rajasthan.

Shekhar will be directing the film himself and the film will go on floors in 2013. He is also in talks with NDFC to produce the film.

Currently, Juhi is already committed to three projects. One with Ram Mirchandani's Rampage Motion Pictures, the others with Shoojit Sircar's Rising Sun Films and John Abraham's J A Productions respectively.

Shekhar Kapur is expected to start work on Paani after the completion of this film.

Jannat 2 not allowed to be shown on TV before 11 pm

After The Dirty Picture, Jannat 2 becomes the second film to be banned by the Censor Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for screening during prime-time slot on TV. Despite opting for cuts and getting a U/A certificate for its TV premiere, the CBFC issued a diktat to the makers of Jannat 2 that they could screen their film only post 11 pm.

This decision has irked the Bhatts to no end and producer Mukesh Bhatt has said that he wouldn't accept this condition laid down by the Censor Board. The Bhatts feel that if they agreed to the various cuts asked by the CBFC, then why not allow the film to be screened at prime-time? However, the CBFC feels that a film like Jannat 2 despite its various cuts is still not suitable to be watched by young viewers.

The Dirty Picture is yet to be premiered on TV and if the makers of Jannat 2 don't agree to the CBFC's demands, their film may have to face the same fate. If that happens, satellite rights which serve as a big revenue source for filmmakers will be affected in a bad way.

Hrithik and Priyanka come together in ‘Krrish 3′

Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra, who are riding high on the success of their film ‘Agneepath’ will come together once again for the upcoming film ‘Krrish 3’.

Krrish 3 will be directed and produced by Rakesh Roshan, and will be made in 3D. The film will star Hrithik, Priyanka, Kangna Ranaut, Vivek Oberoi, Riya Sen and Rekha (in a special appearance).
The pair was first seen in ‘Krrish’, the sequel to 2003 super hit film ‘Koi Mil Gaya’. Then they were seen in Karan Johar-produced ‘Agneepath’ in January 2012. Both these films had lot of action in it, but the new film ‘Krrish 3’ will see Hrithik and Priyanka romancing strongly.-CMC

Vidya Balan’s ‘Kahaani’ enters third week, still going strong

Vidya Balan’s “Kahaani” seems to have a struck a chord with the audiences in a large way because the gripping thriller has entered its third week and remains to be proving to be a crowd puller. The film not just defies the brand new box office mantra of “focus on first three days’ box office collection”, but in addition proves that the actress has far to go.
The film earned Rs.43.05 crore since its release March 9.
Director Sujoy Ghosh made it at the cheap of Rs.8 crore and the collections show that it’s a bumper hit of the primary quarter of the year. Delhi-based distributor Joginder Mahajan also admits that the business for “Kahaani” have been a lot more than expected.
“The success of ‘Kahaani’ reinforces the truth that content is the king. The film has done a fantastic business. After ‘The Dirty Picture’, a definite roughly image was created within the minds of individuals about Vidya, but she instantly broke the mildew with ‘Kahaani’. Her acting is being really appreciated within the film,” said Mahajan.
Despite the discharge of “Agent Vinod”, Verma is expecting occupancy of over 85 percent within the third week too.
“The film ran with packed theatres within the second week and now because the exams are over, more people will come to look at the film. We're expecting occupancy of over 85 percent within the coming week,” he added.
The actress has proved that the success of “The Dirty Picture” was no flash within the pan and that she will be able to carry any role with aplomb. “Paa”, “Ishqiya”, “No One Killed Jessica”, “The Dirty Picture” and now “Kahaani”, Vidya’s winning streak continues. – IANS
